I have an ipod touch 2G that i bought off of ebay brand new. The shippers might have been a bit rough with it or it might have ran into problems while it was being made in the factory because the accelerometer is slightly off(i have tried restoring it and all). And it turns out that it has warranty(i put in the serial number at the apple site). So, my question is, can i get my ipod touch replaced just by giving them my serial number without any receipt?

it has to go with a receipt and your ipod itself.

You need some form of receipt, how do they know that you bought it without one?
