So today i was in lunch playing games on my ipod touch, my friend decided that he wanted to play a game too so i let him use it, he was playing iBaseball and while he was using it the ipod touch flew out of the case hit the wall, everything works okay except theres a little dent on the top, do you think if i go to apple and ask for a new ipod touch 1st generation 8gb they will give me a new one, honestly im one of those people that likes everything perfect and i just cant stand having that dent there, i still have a warranty its that 1 year free thing.

The warranty covers defects mainly in Software or if it CAME damaged. It doesn't cover Stupid.

Only if apple think that the dent didn't affect the problem on the ipod.

im not tring to be an ass. if u microwave the ipod in short burst u can lightly fry the wifi card so it doesn't work. then u can walk into apple and be like"o my ipod's wifif doesn't work any more how come. " apple will run digonistics on it and say well the computer says that the ipod wifi just gave out. wierd. heres ur new ipod touch

Is that a proven method or just speculation?
