Well, across the pond in the US, it comes with a free one yea warranty. I'm sure it's the same there. Also, Apple doesn't replace cracked screens.

But, if you're going to try to get it fixed don't tell them the rock show story, tell them you woke up one day and it was cracked. Tell them you have NO idea how it happened and generally play dumb. Also, wipe it clean so there's no games or apps.

    Good luck!

there 1 year warranty is the best. I'm going to an apple store on saterday to return another one of my ipods and buying another iPhone. Last time I just tolled them the sound cut on and off sometimes and I tried other headphones.
15min later I had a brand new iPhone

nope. because thats "user neglect" or something L&L. (lame and legal). i'd go with the "play dumb" idea. remember: when it doubt, DENY EVERYTHING!!

Thats true playing dumb works. Also they don't like kids. I went to return my old ipod like 4 years ago and they wouldn't let me return it. Had to get my Dad to convince them.

No, because that is somehow "your fault." You left it on the desk for the cat to knock over or you didn't put it all the way in your pocket. If you claim it happened over night, it implies it's the device's fault and hence a manufacturer's error.
