Warranty "Fact"?

    Well, according to my friend, if you are still under warranty and a new model of the ipod is out, you can get a new one. I am like 98% sure it is B.S. What do you say. I don't have a copy of the warranty on hand, so I can't say if he is right.

    My friend Rudy is one of the upper management within the customer support and they are only required to replace what you purchased

    Nope. That's probably with Best Buy warranty. I tried to bargain with the guy at the Apple store today to give me a 1G 16 GB touch because they were out of 2Gs. I wasn't successful.

    Yeah, this is definitely not part of the Apple warranty; if it was, that would be great -- but it's not.
