Okay so I have a 2nd generation iPod Touch and my idiot friend was using it and dropped it on the pavement cracking the screen. So I call Apple, and they say it's going to be like $120 to fix it (maybe more, maybe less- the tech support guy had a heavy Indian accent). So I call my local licensed Apple repair place and ask but they say they can't fix something under warranty. So what can I do? I'd rather void the warranty to get it fixed for cheaper than keep the warranty to let Apple fix it. Is there another way?

roflcopter- i say just return it to the store u bought it from ... but if you bought it from apple directly...well then... just complain to apple that its bearly a week or two old and their product shouldnt break so easily and its under warranty and stuff.

    or just do whats cheaper

or sell it on ebay and put the money towards a new 1

    A) This is why i'd never let other people use precious items such as an iPod.
    B) @Fair - Sell a screen cracked iPod Touch on eBay? Yeah okay pal..
