I just did a new posts search. I was horrified at the results.

This is ridiculous. Could there be warnings for making new threads on topics that already exist? It would save everyone time, and hassle.

Come to think of it, shouldn't this be in the rules discusssion section? Move please.

I agree, the mods aren't strict enough. I'm not saying they don't work hard, I just think they should give more infractions.

Aren't strict enough? Really. Have you checked Crime and Punishments lately?

they go pretty crazy but hey its not my forum.

i agree though the double posting thing is gotten way out of hand.

Completely agree. There are too many people on here now to keep giving heads up to them, because none of the other people read, and nobody learns.

Well, you have noobs, who think that no one is smart enough to ask their question. I haven't been on this site for very long, but at least I know what I'm doing. Yeah, mods, please be stricter on this subject. They are strict on most things, just not this.

When you open a new thread the vBulletin software will prompt you with several other threads that may be similar to the one you are posting... it's common sense, though I know there's some who can't even muster that...

As for Mods not being strict enough... my ban hammer needs a rest after last week's 3.0 release and jailbreak noob madness... I wish we could be more lax but it's teh only way to keep the forums clean.

Well, I know they are strict, I just think too many warnings are given.

I think the rules are far too strict, as is the implimentation, but I see so many people slip through the net.

We've been incredibly busy recently, and you're asking us to do more?
A lot of us have had important exams, and to top it off there's been a massive influx of users who refuse to read the rules.

We'll do what we can, you guys just need to keep on reporting posts. We'll get it sorted.
