Warning to all spirit jailbroken device users

    My ipod apps were all crashing so i went to restore using the newest itunes but instead of gting a nice fresh ipod i got a completly corrupt firmware that could not be fixed! i am warning everyone DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RESTORE A SPIRIT DEVICE WITH THE NEWEST ITUNES EVER also restore mode and dfu wont work irecovery dosent seem to see the device so be warned ima see what apple will do do to there sh*tty itunes software killing my ipod and yea i called it sh*tty i found share pod and i love it as it works right unlike itunes and NO you CAN NOT blame it its based off apples mobile device dlls and service so BE EXTREAMLY CAREFUL im upset my ipod is permanitly dead

    No its not spirit thats the issue its in some casses itunes dose this it happened to my bros ipod but he got lucky and used a backup

    1. You can't brick an iPod touch doing that.

    U could maybe try to download a lower version of itunes using google, I already did that because itunes 9.1.1 was too lagging and it worked

    *facepalm* its permanitly dead i just got off the phone with apple care so its being replaced / repaired.... btw ur WRONG its permanitly dead as in firmware is not writable AT ALL completly corrupt
