There is NO jailbreak yet for the iPod Touch 2G yet. The iPhone Dev Team are going to release redsn0w soon. Chronic Dev's 0wnBoot IS NOT THE JAILBREAK. Stop posting these threads. The people who do post these threads like "Possible Jailbreak" are just trying to earn some fame. DO NOT trust any of them. To get real info on the Jailbreak. Read http://blog.iphone-dev.org for Official Dev Team Information (and look for the "Colored Comments" which are official). Or read "www.chronic-dev.org" for Information from Chronic-Dev themselves. Any comments that are posted from people claiming them to be real, are fake. Simple as that. Thankyou, cocotutch (who wants a Jailbreak as much as the next guy with a 2G).
I don't mean to flame, but everyone knows that the only way that a jailbreak will be announced will be from the official dev-team/chronic dev page.
Not another one of these threads... lol I suggest we all forget about the jailbreak, maybe the 1g users got lucky, but for now we're not that lucky. We need to just relax, and let the Chronic dev and I-Phone Dev team do what they do best!!! We need to support and encourage our current Dev teams, they want this probably more then you do. No ETA, by now we all know this!!!!! No Estimated Time of Arrival. They are not gonna release the Tethered Version unless its last resort!!! I just heard from someone else, that Chronic would never ever release the Tethered Version, Ever. So, lets all just relax, and hope that the Dev teams are up for this challenge and will soon achieve their goals!!!!

Agreed. The people who make the annoying "JAILBREAK MAH 2G!!?!" don't read these kind of threads anyway.
