OK, here is my story of woe. I installed infiniboard, and I have to say, I love it! Now upon using it I noticed some small errors. Mainly it's incompatibilities with lockinfo. If set to the homescreen, lockinfo on the HOMESCREEN cannot be interacted with (The LOCKSCREEN still works perfectly Please Register or Log in to view images). No biggie I thought, that's easily worked out! Please Register or Log in to view images. I also noticed that it laggs a bit when moving icons from page to page, again, no biggie, easily worked out. Then I found a huge flaw. I duplicated one of my app icons. Literally duplicated it. I had two AppSniper icons on my SpringBoard. I was like, OK, no biggie, I'll just respring and everything will be back to normal. NOT! Respringing brought it into a respring loop, where on the third time (lucky number 3) it shut off. It restarted and did the same thing. It took about half an hour of me trying to figure out a way to fix it without restore (This will ALWAYS work). here's what to do if this does, by any chance, happens to you (hopefully it doesn't). Fixing the flaw is actually easy (but requires patience) Perquisites (required before-hand, most of use already have these installed): -OpenSSH (Required) -SBSettings (Optional) -iFile (Optional) Steps if device is restarting already(they become a pain when your device is restarting randomly Please Register or Log in to view images): -Connect to your iPod using openSSH (make sure you know the IP) -Locate the "var/mobile/applications/" folder. -Find the app that was duplicated (this is the pain in the but, you're timer is the time it takes your device to restart, three resprings for me) -Delete the app from the applications folder. -Boot into safe mode (optional) I did this just in case -You're good to go. *NOTE if your device restarts during the process, you will have to wait for OpenSSH to start up again. Then you will have connection again Steps if your device isn't restarting (Did not respring like I did): -Open iFile -Delete navigate to the "var/Mobile/Applications" folder -Delete the duplicated app. -Boot into safe mode (optional) Again, did this just in case -You should be good to go. -If you do not have iFile -I would not recommend trying to install anything during this process (unless it's OpenSSH). -Follow the steps as if your device was restarting (but it's not Please Register or Log in to view images). *Notes: If your device is not in a reboot / respring cycle DO NOT respring OR reboot. Hope this helps anyone who has run Please Register or Log in to view images() or end up running into this problem. It will take about 15 minutes to fix (It took me 30 to figure out what to do and how to fix it). *Note: removing through iTunes DOES NOT WORK if your device is restarting (it will reboot while it is syncing and not delete it quick enough, I even stopped the backup) Any questions, respond to the thread.
