I have the 4.1 GM and when I went on iTunes today I was not offered the official iOS 4.1. I then came on here and found lots of threads saying that 4.1 can stop Jailbreaking altogether. I want to now downgrade back to iOS 4.0. How can I do this?

It doesn't stop jailbreaking altogether, you just have to wait for redsn0w or whatever to be updated for the new firmware.

As for downgrading, you can only do it if you've backed up your 4.0 shsh blob, have you backed it up?

I have no idea. I just shift+click on Restore in iTunes. Now I can't even Restore my iPhone altogether just by clicking on it.

If you don't know whether you've done it, the likelyhood is you haven't done it.

If you didn't do it manually, did you ever select 'make my life easier' in cydia?
