I'm trying to make my iPod resemble an iPhone and wanted to change the homescreen icons for textplus 4 to the iphone's messages and the Talkatone icon to the phone icon. I haven't found any proper 57x57 icons to use, so If anyone could send me these two that would be great.

Also, in which folder would I find the original icons for these apps while using SSH?

The original phone icon can be found in var/stash/Applications.XXXXXX/MobilePhone.app

SSH there and grab the .png, and you can use Rename II and a custom theme to make it look like the Phone app.

He doesn't have a 4g -_- and don't use r2. There is something called Info.plist, I think you should try it

    He doesn't have an iPhone.

Anyways, search "iPhone" in Cydia, there's a theme that I can't seem to remember that contains the Phone, Messages, and Camera icon.

Thanks, but I'm not looking for a theme. I already used rename 2 and just want to change the icons for the apps.

He doesn't need one. It's included in iPod touches; well at least in 4G ones. It's worth a try looking for it.

Jorge. You're probably gonna have to use a theme to skin over the icon. I can upload my theme for it. I'm not sure there is any way to change icons without a theme.

Not included in the iPod touch 3G and below, due to the lack of FaceTime.

It is possible to change the icon of an app by going into it's folder and replacing the applications icon with whatever one you want. The thing I need is maybe for someone you has a 3GS or lower to copy their icons and upload them. That way I'd get the proper 57x57 icon

Thanks for the correction. Can anyone supply the icons?
