I just spent the last few hours writing up my own special subclassed UILabel that allows me to embolden some words in the strings I enter (that are contained within [BOLD] tags. Example, "This is a string with [BOLD]bold words[/BOLD] in it" would look like "This is a string with bold words in it." It's a fantastic subclass, and all. It centers, draws and justifies correctly. In fact, it works beautifully with all the properties that UILabel has. I couldn't be more pleased. But, after hours of hard work, I took another look at what I was trying to do. I should have just used one view with two labels on it. Sigh... The finished product (look at the UILabel at the bottom of the table) just shows that I've wasted my time... And, you should be able to expand it fairly easily with your own [TAGS].
