I have been trying to set a wallpaper for my background and it will not work. I set a picture as wallpaper, hit user wallpaper in Winterboard, and nothing happens. I have tried playing with SSH by making winterboard themes and that also does not work.

Yeah, Winterboard backgrounds are currently bugged for most people. Just wait until it's fixed.

Acutally if you checked Saurik's Twitter, he states, that this isn't a bug.
In Fact, my Wallpaper is working, but only because my Theme is using a Wallpaper.html
Lockscreen doesn't show any background though.

    As I said, I'm using a Theme with Wallpaper.html.
I deleted LockBackgorund.jpg in that Theme, and created a symbolic Link to the /var/mobile/Library/LockBackground.jpg Image.
Alternativly you could edit the css of the Wallpaper.html - File.

EDIT: Did u try to move "User Wallpaper" AND "User Lock Background" to the top in WinterBoard?
I did it, and now it's even working without a Wallpaper.html.

    xD.
Well you could try it like this:
Copy and paste following to a new text file:
and save it as "Wallpaper.html". Then copy this File to your stash/Themes/User Wallpaper Folder (with WinSCP or Total Commander, or whatever), go to WinterBoard on your iDevice, activate "User Wallpaper" and move it to the top.
    Tell me if it works.

No, actually you save the Text to a Wallpaper.html File, as I said. xD
    No URLs.
And you copy it to /private/var/stash/Themes.xxxx/User Wallpaper
Did u even try the easiest way?
Go to WinterBoard, activate "User Wallpaper" AND "User Lock Background" and move both up (to the top), but I assume that you already did this, that's why I came up with the other, more difficult idea, since both things are working for me.
