    Hi!

I've had the illumine theme for quite a while and after many searches through my theme folder (in iFile) I finally got around to asking how to make this.
    ---
In many themes, not just illumine, there are wallpapers that have a certain 'texture' to them that I really like, like this (click to enlarge):

As you can see, it has a kind of "grainy" texture to it.

I was wondering how to make stuff like this. I use Paint.NETNOT PHOTOSHOPbut can also use pixlr. I already know how to make gradient...

    To sum it all up:
How do I create (a grainy) textured wallpaper/icon like the screen shot above in Paint.NET or pixlr?
    ~~
    Just a semi-related question:
Does anyone know how to run Paint.NET on Ubuntu Karmic (9.10)?

Hey, I use Paint.NET as well.

I don't know the answer, but a better place to ask this would be the Paint.NET forums.

Just go to http://www.getpaint.net and go to the forums.

I don't have an account there but I will see what I can do...

I would still like to know if anyone else knows how to do this...

The texture itself is called "noise". I don't know how to do it on Paint.net, you can google it but I know you can do it with Gimp.
