So I am planning to get a 4g iPod touch, and I use a wall charger for my 3g iPod.
I've been researching a bit and heard that I should never charge a 4g iPod touch with a wall charger. Is that actually true?

By the way: I wrote this from my iPod.

That sounds crazy. I've been using a wall charger with mine for a week now. It's better IMO. Faster complete charges.

Some work, some don't. So it depends. My old griffin one doesn't work. But my generic one I got for a penny works perfectly. It depends.

The iPhone and iPad ones should work just fine. Not sure about 3rd party ones.

I use a genuine apple wall charger and it charges way faster than a computer charge.

Apple's wall chargers work very well if you have one.

I use the regular USB, no wall adapters or anything of the sort. >>

Where did you see that? It's perfectly fine to charge your touch with a wall charger.

smart charge supported chargers are the only ones that will charge it and that is the same as plugin it in ur computer. That would be like saying dont plug it into you computer.
