I recieved my iPod Touch 4G today and at the moment I'm charging it with my wall charger, I thought I'd have a look at it whilst it's charging and when I start touching the screen to move around, it start's clicking in places which I don't touch, any reason for this? And then I remove it and it's perfectly fine.

Definitely not normal. Take it in and show it to Apple. Maybe try restoring/restarting it?

I think it's normal for it to do that since I don't think it's compatible.

    Dj9928 experienced the same thing:

You mean he's using like a cheap, off brand charger?

No no, like I don't think it's compatible. On the box when you get a charger for an iPod Touch/iPhone it says all the generations that it's compatible with.

You can exchange it for a new one and try charging it with the same charger. If it acts up, then it's the charger for sure.

Let me get you the thread, give me a sec.

Edit: Not a big thread, but eh.. it relates to this thread. http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=312827

    Oh I got you.

So does that mean that I shouldn't use my Apple brand wall charger for my 4G? (I have that white square one with the rotating pegs) It seems to be charging it fine, but I don't wanna use it if it's not considered compatible. Or is this just for certain chargers?
