    honestly, don't be so afraid to upgrade.

    UNLESS you have an unlocked phone.

    You have good reason to be scared of updating if you have a 3GS too. Especially if it's unlocked. I'm normally not that worried, but I'd rather have a jailbroken phone for a couple days rather than update it and lose it, maybe forever. I'm not that eager to update for Genius Appstore integration. The best thing would be pasting numbers into the keypad in the phone.

    Why not try it out?

    All my information is backed up, so I figured it's a good idea to just flatten my iPod and try the new firmware.
    Seems to be working well, and I guess I can do without the jailbreak for a while, until the Devs come out with the jailbreak.
    If push comes to shove, I will just put 3.0 back on there, jailbreak that, and stick with 3.0...
