i cant get past the waiting for reboot thing in redsnow 0.7.1 i have tryed to put the ipod in DFU mode following the redsnow instructions and same thing
in 0.7 it does get past a couple of "waiting for reboot" (1 2 and 3 i think) and after it just displays a message for a sec and disappears and the phone isnt jailbroken
i have tryed unplugging DFU mode with redsnow and without nothing will work
    ipod touch 1st gen
btw im using win 7 u think this may be the problem?

Didn't work for me, problem was that I had to take the iPT into DFU mode while jailbreaking. It got stuck if I started the JB process with my iPod in DFU mode.
