so ive been trying to upgrade to ipod 5a345 but it says prepeing ipod for restore and ipod gets stuck at apple logo and it starts taking forever and i end up with an error...

ANd if i enter it into DFU itunes just says "waiting for ipod" and then says that ipod could not be connected error 16 or something like that.

Im really desperate cause i cant get the final 2.0 as itunes store doesnt work in my country.

I am currently on 1.1.4 not jailbreaked and freshly restored with itunes 7.7.

Any suggestions on wat i should do??

    Thnx in advance

Yes mate you need to use a different computer to restore if its in DFU mode now. The reason for this is itunes 7.7.

I did exactly the same but managed to get 2.0 working but couldnt restore after. Phone apple support and we spent over an hour going through everything. In the end simply restoring on another computer fixed the continuous errors.

you just need to plug it in again or restart the ipod and then restore it

try force restoring your ipod and put it on 1.1.4 and just wait till 2.0 comes out.
