iOS 4.1 Waiting For Device Limera1n Problem

    Has anybody found a fix? A bunch of people are having problems, even tysiphonehelp.

    Redownload or run as Admin.

    Man I wish it were that easy. I've tried on 3 computers and no luck. I've tried every compatibility mode and run as admin.

    all I did was follow the steps then turn it on after it was done. Once i got to limera1n i restarted to my ipod and cydia showed up

    No steps show up though it just says waiting for device...

    try this

    Had the same problem and this workded for me:

    1-Put your iphone in DFU mode (hold power and home button for 10 seconds, release power button and hold home button for 10 more secs).

    2-Unplug USB cable and start Limera1n and click "make it ra1n"

    After that my iPhone 4 got detected. Hope this helps.

    ^^^ seems to work but then it sticks at dfu mode wait

    i cant get it farther

    SOLUTION:
    download the latest itunes update.

    Updating iTunes did the Job,

    How does iTunes even have anything to do with it?
