    Hey guys..
    Just want your opinion.
Should i get the white iPhone 4 that should be coming out at Christmas or,
Wait a bit longer and get the next gen iPhone which may come out in Jan 2011 & if not than June.

I have an iPhone 3G atm and it's too slow and old for me so I need to upgrade
    A.s.a.p

What do you think I should get?

I'm not sure why you have to get the white iPhone, which may or may not be available at Christmas (or even this generation).

I don't mind the black one but 3 people have it in my family and I want to be unique.
But my brothers telling me to wait and get the iPhone 5.

Considering the next gen will be a 'tock' upgrade (referencing Apple's tendency to do 'tick-tock' upgrades), there will probably be minimal differences. I doubt the design will change. Honestly, the only upgrades I see coming are the antenna issues being totally resolved, and perhaps a better front and back camera. Probably an upgrade to a 1GHz processor as well.

Honestly, if I were you I would get the black iPhone 4 now, and then get a nice case (I'm thinking something like this). That would probably differentiate it from your families' phones.

If you're upgrading from a 3G and you can wait for Christmas, I'd go with the white one. I imagine that when the white one comes out there'll be a huge rush for them leading to a higher resale value later on. When iPhone 5 comes out sell your iPhone on craigslist unlocked (with the dev team's unlock) for a good amount of money and get the G5.

Lets hope the solve the antenna issues. Don't want that $100 000 000.00 Building of theirs to go to waste now do we.

    the a4 is a 1GHZ processor?

am i correct? its rumored but noone has confirmed its clock capability...

Apple A4 is based on the ARM processor architecture.[5] The first version released runs at 1 GHz and contains a Cortex-A8 CPU core paired with a PowerVR SGX 535 graphics processor (GPU)[3][6][7][8] built on Samsung's 45 nm process.[9]

That is correct, it is capable of running at 1GHz, but I don't recall seeing what speed it's actually clocked at anywhere.
