NB: Could a mod rename this thread to "[W.I.P] Disco Funk Metal [Full GUI]"? Thanks

    Hey all,

I have been working on this for the past week or two, even while I was making Gacha Gacha. Gacha was really only a test base for this theme idea, and now with Parusu, I believe I have perfected my idea.

One problem, there is no screenshot of it in action, and there won't be one until at least Wednesday next week, since I am on 3.0's GM and there is no Jailbreak, WinterBoard, OpenSSH or Icy yet, so I need somebody to test it for me.

If I could send the first preview of this theme to one of you and you take a screenshot and send it back to me, I can put it up here for viewing. I really don't want to have to go back to 2.2.1 just to preview a theme. I hope this isn't too much to ask of any of you

Sample Icons available on Page 2.

    Thanks,

Invalid attachments. Why don't you use Static FX's theme previewer thing? It's purely on the computer, no iPod needed.
Link... is the protagonist from Legend of Zelda.

No need to close it! There's not even a page of posts! Just change the name and edit first post.

Style 2 reminds me of Silky Matte, which I like.

I agree with everything vince said. And also, just something I'd like to point out, I think the drop shadow needs its size increased and its opacity adjusted. Style 2 looks better, but I guess style 1 would be nice too IF you gave it more of an iPhone bevel look becuase right now it is matte-ish and not in keeping with the glossy polished iPhone OS.

This is more just for me, cropped out of silky matte (sorry for the white background)

Unfortunately I couldn't match the text (the iPod icon says "media" and is orange) so I just matched color.
EDIT: Just thought I'd add yours next to it. But I would like to see a theme that is just the bands! Like Tabs on steroids!

I will change the thread name if I can: to "[W.I.P] Disco Funk Metal [Full GUI]" as it will be a Full UI Theme. I didn't realise how big my Icons were, I zoomed out in Photoshop to make it incredibly detailed. I need to go back to my drawing board..

What do you mean by "Bands"? and "Like Tabs gone mad"?

what I've posted I am calling the "bands" they remind me of banners.

Tab was a theme released a while back that was basically little rounded rectangle word bubbles with the theme names written on it.

So this is like that, but way fancier.
