vwallpaper wont play videos

    i cant get any of the videos to play ive downloaded some and the default ones wont play either, i have version .8 and i disabled wallpaper from smb pref.

    Same here. It worked but doesn't anymore.

    have you tried other permissions....... first try te usuall 0755 then 0775 0777 and 4777(not to sure about) these are only guesses.......if it bricks sorry not my fault try at own riks................doubt it will brick

    i have the app set to 755 and the video folder set to 777 still nothing is it because im on 1.1.1

    im running 1.1.4 and it still doesn't work >.<

    The video has to be done in a special format. I had the same problems. I have a converter that converts the iPod video to the old iPod video format and that works great for me.

    you got to make sure your videos are formatted into quicktime. have you try to turn off and then pick you video and then turn on, then respring?
    It could also mean that the folder is in the wrong location when you winscp

    I'm having the same problem, the funny thing is that mine was working perfectly about an hour ago and I didn't even turn my iPod off, I just opened an app then closed it and my video stopped playing and now none of them work, so I doubt that it's the permissions, which are supposed to be 644 for videos. And I'm pretty sure that my internet was down just incase it was some weird internet issue. I've also tried restarting my iPod and uninstalling then reinstalling vWallpaper and toggling all the settings (Enable Video On/Off; Theme Wallpaper On/Off in SMBprefs)
