I'm not sure about VWallpaper but Fontswap works fine but you can't change the system fonts.

Backup with aptBackup and see for yourself. If something goes wrong restore and rejailbreak. That's what I did with five column springboard.

vWallpaper, I am not sure of, however, I do know the case with FontSwap.

The fonts in the app "FontSwap" are not ported to iOS4 yet, but you can, with some work, port your old custom fonts to iOS4-ready fonts.

With the release of iOS4, Apple decided that they would change the format of some of their fonts (Helvetica, MarkerFelt, etc) from ".ttf" (TrueType Font) to ".ttc" (TrueType Collection).

If you have some old (.ttf) custom FontSwap fonts that are already iDevice ready, then the porting process is quite simple, that is, if you have Windows.

Doing some searching through the forum, I noticed that Mitsugaru already explained this process two weeks ago; so with that said, you can go

    HERE

    to read the tutorial.
    (Thanks again to Mitsugaru)
