just recently i noticed that my ipod doesnt have the earsplitting volume anymore. for some reason when i put it on full volume its like 70% of what it was before. The volume lock is off, i've never even touched it, so it cant be that. i've looked in all these "common sulutions" threads but none have helped. i just wanted to know if anyone has had this problem before. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Change the volume presets in iTunes, that usually helps

It could also be a problem with the headphones themselves. Try the volume with a couple pairs of extra headphones and see if they sound any different
