    Hi guys.

I jailbroke my sister's iPod touch, running 3.1.2, using blackra1n. Thinking it was an iPod touch 2G, without checking the model number, was stupid of me, and as soon as I realized it was a tethered, MC model iPod, I restored it.

That was around a month ago. A few times after, and recently, too, she has been having some problems with the volume control, and it's sometimes frustrating. Here's the problem:

During listening to her iPod, the volume will randomly turn all the way down, and if she tries to turn it back up, it will go back down. There is nothing wrong with her volume rocker, and the only way to fix it is to reboot her iPod.

Now, my question is, was this a problem that the jailbreak caused? If so, how could I fix it?

    Thanks,

If you restored it, it isn't the jailbreak.

Ok. I read somewhere (do not know the link), that the jailbreak may cause this problem, but I was just making sure.

    Problem solved.
