Just jailbroke my ipod touch 2G mc model on 4.1, and was looking forawrd to the Volume Button Extender tweak app from cydia, which i had when I was jailbroken on 3.1.3

However, when I installed it, I came up with a problem: Every time I pressed the volume buttons the iPod would freeze, until i held down the power and home buttons, at which point it would restart with a notification saying that springboard had crashed.

The point of volume button extender is to change the track of the current playlist or whatever by holding down a volume button.

Anyone got a fix or something? Might it just be that this tweak doesn't run on 4.1?

If it hasn't been updated since 3.1.3 likely it has been discontinued, sorry

Thanks. Works perfectly. Did not know activator could also monitor the volume buttons. Very nice - now I just need to find a cheap way to tether my iPhone under 4.x and I might finally consider updating.
