voip for mac?

    Yes. if you visit any of the sites listed on the touchmods blog, you'll see that a lot of them have OS X downloads. like freecall.com and voipbuster.com

    I'm using freecall.com - free for 3 months and 1.5c/min after that!

    Those OS X downloads they have on the VoIP sites are just a softphone program you download to make calls on your computer (ie. X-lite) and the free ones do not work on Leopard (at least not right now).

    I tested FreeCall, VoIPRaider and VoIPCheap. On top to those site sharing the users (no duplicate accounts) - the so-called free calls will last you a short time before they ask you to buy credits. And has anyone actually downloaded the "verification program" they ask you to download before buying credits? What is that for?

    Right now, VoIP on my iPod is looking less and less practical. Heck, if I still had the money I spent on iVoice and a soldering iron - I would have been 1/8 closer to buying an iPhone.
