Ok, I saw that you are able to supposedly alter the files on the 4.0 version so you can use multitasking on a 2g rather it being a 3g exclusive. Then it hits me "What about voice control?" I've been wanting voice control on my 2g for a while. So is there any .plist or anything I can alter so I can get this funtion? Thanks in advance.

I will try this, dosn't 3g iPods have this too or just the iPhone? I'm pretty sure, if there is, the app must be out there somewhere.

It crashes upon startup. I'll look for the .app file.

    1. The 2G firmware doesn't contain the files, binaries etc. required for voice control. It's not like you can flip some switch to make it work.

    2. The 2G simply cannot handle it; voice control requires significant processing power.

I personally never use voice control on my iPhone. It's weird to be issuing verbal commands to your phone in public IMO. Also, it's really no faster than using on-screen controls. The only use for it would be while you are driving a car, but in addition to than the fact that is it dangerous (albeit not as bad as using on-screen controls), I'm not comfortable enough (yet

I have a voice control app on my iPod touch 2g. It's not really all that great though. Thing never understands what I'm saying, lol.
