Hi, am asking here as the chaps behind VNsea do not have a forum, and are probably too busy coding a most excellent app!

I would appreciate a litle advice on using VNsea over an SSH tunnel. My setup is accessing a MBP, through my AEBS router from the Touch.

So far this is what I have tried without success:

    1) In Mac OS X 10.5.1 sharing pref tab, set up the remote management, allowing VNC client access (I can get VNsea to work when in my network, so know this is ok)
    2) In sharing pref tab, allow remote login
    3) Manually setup AEBS, again allowing remote login - SSH port 22 and remote desktop, port 5900
    4) On the touch, open up terminal and type:

    ssh -L 5900: user@my.ip.add.ress

I can confirm I was using the right IP for the MBP

I get a terminal error saying that it cannot connect through that route.

    Any tips/advice greatfully received.

I 2nd this request. The ability to VNSea over SSH would be awesome.

I think there is an app that lets you run cammand line programs by pressing a button. Perhaps it is possible to make that app launch an ssh session with the remote host and setup the tunnel.

Someone also mentioned reverse tunneling, but that concept is foreign to me so I will have to do some reading before I comment on it.
