Hi. I used to send all my saves and whatnot over from Visualboy Advance in the form of .sav files to ROMs directory for Gameboy4iPhone. This has worked until the most recent update. The save files in the ROMs directory used to look something like this:

    Game.gbc
    Game.gbc.sav
Game - (some numbers that represent date and time).svs

    Now, it looks like this:

    Game.gbc
    Game.sav
Game - (some numbers that represent date and time).svs

Long story short, transferring the .sav into that directory no longer works. it would be great if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong/how to fix it.

    Thanks,

Hi kids. I figured it out. This may serve as a tutorial for those who want to transfer .sav files from Visual Boy Advance, or a similar emulator, over to Gameboy4iPhone:

Step 1: Get onto Visual Boy Advance and get yo cheat on.
Step 2: Export a battery file as "Game Title.sav" where Game Title is the title of the game. (Obviously)
Step 3: Drop the Game Title.sav into the same folder as your Game Title.gbc. This is most likely var/mobile/Media/ROMs/GAMEBOY. This is the standard place.
Step 4: Open up Gameboy4iPhone on your iPod/iPhone.\
Step 5: Don't open up any .svs, just open up the rom itself.
Step 6: It should load your game that is full of cheats. Good Job!

I guess I didn't understand how the save system worked, but now it makes some sense. Anyway, i hope this helps.
