So I recently got my laptop back from repair, it has been away since before Redsn0w became available, and I've run into some problems with booting.

This is the first time I've tried to boot and its not going great

I DFU'd and it all seemed ok but Vista popped up saying it failed to install the iPod Touch DFU driver.. Any ideas?

Also how do I go about setting LibUSB to XP SP2 compatability? Just incase I get that far..

    Thanks in advance

Right click on this file. Select Properties | Compatibility Click
the “Run this program in compatibility mode” box and select
“Windows XP (Service Pack2)” from the drop down list.

    This file being LibUSB installer?
New development: LinUSB caused my sound card to stop working and me to bluescreen, safe mode would not load system restore and the only way to fix it was uninstall LibUSB..

Please help me. My dad is getting annoyed with me interrupting him to boot my iPod

the DFU drivers not being installed is a problem with Apple Mobile Device Driver. try reinstalling iTunes
