    Is this true?
I have noticed, here, questions about "things to do" with SSH?

In the not to distant past, basically, only 'Doze was the target.

I have been wary about downloading, in my liberated Touch. I turn downloading in Safari OFF in SBSettings, when I am not deliberately choosing to use it with "trusted sites".

    I have blocked ads. New.

Is this a real concern, nowdays?

Is a firewall available for Touch, or only iPhone?

Since I don't mention those things, here, and I don't go to those sites, of course, I don't know if it is iPhone only? if this is a real concern? if it is a real firewall?

There's only been a couple people who even made a virus for the iPod and iPhone.

    Your pretty safe.

First thought, Why would someone bother to hack into an iPod Touch?
Second thoughts, Why would someone even want to hack into an iPod Touch?

    Where is the gain?

People just do it to show off that they can do it

    Because they're bored and sad.

    But still, it's quite clever.

Lol, isn't Jailbreaking hacking enough? People have nothing better to do with there lives.
If anything goes bad I'm pretty sure a DFU restore could fix it.

Your backup in iTunes probably wouldn't hve the virus so it's only an inconveinience to restore and jailbreak again

There was a firewall released in April 2009, in a repo site we do not discuss.

I happened upon the link, today, at hacktheipodtouch.

    Can I say hacktheipodtouch?

Is it just so much nonsense?

    iptman,

    one comment, there:

So, simply restore and rejailbreak, takes care of everything?

The "harddrive" gets a complete wipe. We trust the NOR to Cydia. What else?

I have a firewall and antivirus, trojan, malware software on the laptop, protecting iTunes.

I do all that, because I have a 'Doze laptop.
