Alot more cash, but Snow Leopard is more than just safer, its generally nicer to use and if you've ever use 10.6 then im sure you'll understand...

Once you go Mac, you'll never go back.

    Yeah, either hackintosh or Linux.
I prefer Linux, but OS X has more userfriendly feeling.

Just for the record, Snow Leopard is not that secure.
The only reason it "doesn't get viruses" is because nobody makes them for OS X.

Windows has many, MANY more people on board compared to OS X.
Why go for OS X if you can target the most widely used OS?
It's like throwing a pebble at a tiny dot compared to a wall.

But to answer your question, yes.
    You'll probably be virus free.

I have Windows 7 on my computer, and have never had any virus issues.
In reality, you don't even need one; you just need to browse smart.
I also dual-boot OS X, and have had no problems, either.

By the way, I'm not trying to start a war.
    Sooo...... *runs away*
