Has anyone else experienced a spyware or any sort of virus infection after downloading UltraVNC for Windows Vista? I already downloaded the program and I noticed an increase in the number of virus found by my antivirus program.
I don't want to delete UltraVNC from my computer because it's very useful, but I am worried about possible security breaches. Can anyone help?

I use UltraVNC all the time, I haven't seen any viruses come up in my antivirus program.

virus from VNC? Not likely unless you somehow are letting people connect to you without you knowing and then transferring files over.. again, without you knowing about it. Always make sure you have a good password set up in VNC

I've used both RealVNC and UltraVNC and I haven't seen a single virus due to their installation or their use. Blame Vista... Upgrade back to XP...
