virgin 1.1.4 summerboard user

    this is the first time i'm attempting to use summerboard on my itouch

    and i cannot for the life of me figure out how to make it (ACTIVE) as opposed to (INACTIVE)

    i have openSSH installed, i tried bsd subsystem, the 1.1.3 & 1.1.4 sv patches, the winSCP 755 method, the ispazio technique and about a million different youtube methods.

    can someone plz help me to just get the dang summerboard from (inactive) to (active)?!?

    as said in the other thread, try restarting the ipod, or reinstalling summerboard if it still doesn't work

    you do know u have to restart your device before it becomes active right?

    Alright, I was having this problem a while back and people have posted fixes here but I'll put a few. First of all it's not an "itouch" so don't call it that. Alright then, first try restarting your iPod. If it doesn't work SSH into your iPod and go to /Applications/Summerboard and change everything in that directory except for the folders and anything ending in .plist to 755 ( and isn't it 0755 when using WinSCP?). Anyways if that still doesn't work ipodtouchmaster made a Summerboard fix way back when that can still be found in his repo so install that. And lastly restart your iPod again. If none of that works then you're outta luck.
