On 1.1.X there used to be lighttpd which allowed you to view locally (127.0.0.1 method) PDF, XML, HTML.
I installed lighttpd from Cydia but it doesn't work.

So is there any alternative? Docs and Fileviewer aren't any good..

    Thanks,
    Xandu.

I think it's called "File:: support for Safari".
    It's in Cydia.

    file:// Schema in Safari

Here's what you would type in for example.pdf in /var/mobile/Library/Example

    file:///var/mobile/Library/Example/example.pdf

As soon as you type in file: it pops up though, so it wouldn't have mattered
