So I have a couple of Quicktime MOV Files that I wanted to place on my Touch 2G. These were professionaly done, and converted into Mov Quick time files.

They work perfectly in iTunes, but when I sysnc them to my touch it still says no Videos? Would I have to use an App like Discover in order for them to work?

You will need to convert them to MP4

Or M4V. I recommend using HandBrake and using the iPod touch preset option, to convert.

M4V is MP4. It just allows for more features like changing subtitles, changing audio feeds, chapters, etc.

I only said that because some people have noted having trouble when trying to sync a video in MP4 format; when they convert it to M4V, it worked.

That isn't necessarily true. If the video has too high of a resolution, it will not sync. Even if it is M4V.

Red Kawa's iPod Touch Video Converter works excellent for me. The program might be a little buggy, but it functions properly where it should. Check it out for a one-click solution. Conversion time has about a 1:1 ratio depending on your machine.

I'm just telling you what I have experienced and noticed. I have no idea why/how it works but I do know that it does.

Just converted a 97MB 3 Mintue clip, it made the actual clip 6:11, all my audio is out of sync with the actual clip. I'm using the lastest version of Handbrake.
