Before I get my touch, I've converted many video clips in .mp4 with Xvid4PSP 5.0; but now just two of my 30 videos sync to my touch because iTunes says my Touch doesn't support those video files but all of them are .mp4 and converted with the same application (Xvid4PSP); here is a screenshot with my settings :

looks to me that its your video settings. according to apple, this is what your ipod can play: H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; H.264 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Baseline Profile up to Level 3.0 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats
in other words, see if the program you're using supports h264 instead of x264. you're audio seems to be fine, its your video that needs to be changed

alright, upload 2 pictures for me. one with the drop down box from the top of that screen (where it says x264) and one from the Profile screen at the bottom. you might have a profile that will convert to ipod format instead of PSP format.

there it is but the size of "MP4 iPod Touch" is too small for me (it will never reachs 480x320), i think the video quality will be poor

just try out the iPod touch one, if the video is too small on your ipod screen, double tap the video and it will make it full screen. if its still not as nice as you'd like, try just regular "MP4 iPod" or iPhone. all videos made for the original iPod Video work fine on the Touch, so i'd suggest trying that if it STILL doesnt work, just convert it to .MOV
