Ok.. Its a pain in the a$$ trying to merge subtitle files with video files(i mean, the ones Apple supports in form of Mp4). Is there any easier way? I installed vlc4phone and mplayer.. do they support subtitle files(just srt file(SubRip)).

    Thanks!
p.s: iPodme is a nice program but is often pain and takes too long to encode. And whats the path for video files? I'd like to use total commander and put video files directly into the drive..!

On Mac, use Muxo. On Windows, try YAMB.

YAMB is nice and speedy. merges subtitles fast. but default tv shows doesnt play in my touch without compressing it with ipod video specifications(like 480x320 and a certain bitrate for smooth playback). How can i get mp4box/yamb to compress the video as well?
