Something stuck out to me on the feature page for Accessibility:
If somebody wants to start a video call with you, you’ll receive an invitation — along with a vibrating alert — on your iPod touch asking you to join.
What does this mean? Is there vibration build into the iTouch 4G? I couldn't find anything under the spec detail page, though. Could it be that Apple just copy/pasted directly from the iPhone description?
If somebody wants to start a video call with you, you’ll receive an invitation — along with a vibrating alert — on your iPhone 4 asking you to join.
Although I am noticing that the difference between the two quotes is that the former does say "iPod Touch" whereas the latter says "iPhone 4".

Sorry if this was already posted; didn't see it when I was looking.

hm, didn't notice that before. maybe it's a minor feature that they didn't mention in the keynote? or maybe they did indeed just copy the paragraph from iPhone 4's page. we'll find out when we get our hands on them and try it out

Interesting... Very very nice find. Vibration will be nice. The iPod Touch is so close to the iPhone now.

Nice catch. But it does seem weird for apple to add a vibrate to the touch.

I can't imagine apple would be that careless. They always have little surprises they don't tell us about, right? like bluetooth on the ipod touch 2g??

Interesting find. Maybe it will only vibrate for FaceTime, nothing else.

Vibration would be great for apps - namely games. That and with Facetime and other alerts being pushed to the device, vibrate would come in handy.

I doubt it has vibration, probably just a cut and paste of the iphone post. i just finished reading the manual for the ipod touch 4, and it makes no mention of vibrating alert it does however have a ringtone for facetime.

    Beep me again!

(Google Smart Beep if you're too young to remember that line).
