Ok so I noww have a freshly-restored iPhone 3GS 3.1.3. I restored it beacause the vibrate switch was messing up. Normally, when you switch it to silent, it will vibrate for a second, and when switched back to normal, it doesnt vibrate. My iPhone does the opposite. It vibrates when I put it on normal and does nothing on silent. It still sileneces the device, but its really bothering.

mines like that, its because i shut off vibrate on silent in settings, that causes it to change

I had this happen to me to but soon realized I let my cousin mess with my phone and they had changed the settings. Although I still took it to Apple and they gave me a new 3GS no questions asked.

My iphone when its on vibrate its very sensitive to touch and if i press the middle it vibrates and if i barely tap on the switch it vibrates. its quite annoying when its in your pocket and it vibrates making you think you got a text or a call.
