Very important please read

    Hey

    Today I updated to the iPod os 3.0 and some strange things happened
    -Bluetooth doesn't find anyphone I took my phone my friends my sisters my laptop my stero A2D2 headset and my iPod just sits there saying searching
    but on my phone I search for Bluetooth it says Cihan's iPod I try to connect it fails

    -App store don't work
    -iTunes store don't work
    -when I turn on my iPod the apple logo comes up then a black screen then 5secs later it opens
    -it's a bit slower then 2.2.1
    -Wi-Fi trak not work it says cannot open wifi scanner

    Can anyone explane cause I'm writting to apple if I get no answers

    do a FULL restore, do not Back up, and select NEW ipod after...

    There are still a lot of bugs with some applications when 3.0 is installed.
    This isn't Apple's fault at all. The developer has to update it for 3.0 and submi it to Apple.

    Just wait a while for the apps to be supported and updated.

    I also have the black screen, it'll probably be fixed in 3.1.
    iTunes is being hammered by thousands and thousands of downloads.
    It's actually a little faster, and saves more battery life.

    Oh restore ok would this fix bluetooth and the app store bug
    One more question does the iPod touch have a baseband

    gman - There really isn't an app store bug, I'm sure the apps just need to be updated to run sufficiently on 3.0. I already got an update for one of my apps to support 3.0.

    But yes, Restore as a NEW iPod

    Not sure about the 'baseband' thing

    Hey i got the same bluetooth problem as you :/ not sure about app store mine seems to work fine, please update wen u've done it to see if ineed to do that thanks

    Im having the same issue as the dude mentioned above... will i lose all my apps and music if i do a restore without backing up?

    Full restore. Do not restore from backup. Just choose set up as a new iPod.

    No, you won't loose all your apps. Just your settings/mail accounts/notes, stuff like that.
