Him: Hi, my name is Adan. Welcome to Apple!
Me: Does the iPod Touch 4 have tap to focus?
Him: How may I assist you today?
Me: Does the iPod Touch 4 have tap to focus?
Him: Yes, it does! Which size iPod touch were you considering today?
    Me: I was just wondering
Me: Does it have that HDR thing?
Him: It will once the new iOS is released, which is sometime this week. Which size were you considering?
    Me: I was just wondering.
Me: How many mega pixels does the back camera have?
Him: We currently do not have access to that information. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Me: oh, i thought it was a .7
Me: whats the difference between the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4?
Him: The iPhone has a voice plan and data plan. However, you can use FaceTime calling with the new iPod touch.
Me: I mean specs. Like for example the camera is 5MP on iPhone and .7 on iPod. Stuff like that. Whats the difference?
Him: Are you a current AT&T customer?
Him: Those are the only differences that I am aware of.
Me: oh, is it true that the iPod Touch has vibration? Will it be in use for games?
Him: At the moment, the latest information we have is that it will vibrate when a FaceTime call comes in.
Me: In your opinion, should i buy an iPhone 4 and use it as an iPod Touch or should i buy an iPod Touch?
Him: Are you currently an AT&T customer?
Me: No, but I can just activate it with an AT&T Sim to pass the activation screen.
Him: Do you currently have service with another provider?
    Me: T-Mobile
    Me: I'll unlock it eventually
Him: Are you currently under contract with your current provider?
    Me: Yes.
Him: Making unauthorized modifications to the software on your iPhone violates the iPhone software license agreement, and the inability to use your iPhone due to unauthorized software modifications is not covered under your iPhone warranty
Me: I know that. My current iPhone 3G is unlocked. Doesnt matter to me. But in your opinion should i buy and iPhone 4 as an iPod or an actual iPod Touch 4
Him: Did you have a storage capacity preference?
Me: 32GB is good for me
Him: Based on our discussion, I would recommend the 32GB iPod touch along with the AppleCare Protection Plan. Would you like the link to view it?
    Me: no thank you.
Him: Were there any other questions I could answer for you today?
Me: So what is the difference in the iOS 4.1 from iPod and iPhone?
Me: im really thinking about buying an iPhone 4 and unlocking it. But im not sure. I can buy an iPhone 4 for $200
Him: They feature the same options. Have you added your iPod to your cart?
Me: Im not sure i want to buy one
Me: Im just asking questions. I wouldnt buy one until its jailbroken anyway.
Him: Were there any other questions I could answer for you today?
    Me: I think im good.
Him: Thank you for visiting the Apple Store. We appreciate your business. If you would like more help, please chat with us again.
    Have a good day!

Looks like it does have vibration, that will be useful when its jailbroken.

The vibration will eventually be unlocked to be used in all apps...

Essentially the 2G's hidden Bluetooth, but for this generation.

Wow, the "expert" kept asking if you ordered your iPod, put it into your cart, etc.

I noticed that too. They really want to make a sale. Plus its not like they work on commission.

In the blue box on the top left there will sometimes be a "chat" icon. Its not always there, only during "business hours". I only use it if I really need help. Most of the time I can access the specs page or any other thing my self.
