    Most phones are optimized for the version they launch with/are built around. Generally we see phones launch with the previous version then quickly updated.

    Lol. 4.2 will be coming soon.

    Apple devices get their updates all at once because there are limited choices. It is up to the mfr and carrier to decide which devices get updates. That's why you buy more popular android phones as they /will/ get updates.

    Not to mention, Nexus. Just sayin.
