You would have to use that connection through your laptop and then have windows connection share out through your 802.11 card for your touch to use.

Please search. EVDO is for cellphones and laptops. This has been talked about many times. If you want to be able to get wireless anywhere, get an iPhone.

EVDO needs actual hardware, you can't just pull signals out of the air with software.

    Hi all.

I use the mifi in place of my older USB EVDO modem for my laptop. Beside connecting wirelessly to the net, it enables me to also run a number of other devices while it is on, like other laptops, my Touch, etc. It acts like a router for other wireless devices as well.

My question is whether I can just use it for the Touch while I am without laptop. Since the Touch has wifi and the mifi is a wireless router/modem. Any ideas? I am new to the Touch but think it may work. Like a laptop, all that is needed on the Touch would be wifi capability (which it has) and the software to run it.
