in dfu mode i try to restore via itunes... it pauses on "rebooting ipod" or somthing and the ipod remains in the dfu black screen restore mode.

    Turn iTunes.exe off.

    DFU your iPod.

    cd to iRecovery

    Write in your iRecovery

    Quote:
    iRecovery -f iBSS211.dfu

You need to unplug and replug your ipod (you will get a white screen)

    iRecovery -s
    arm7_stop
    mw 0x9000000 0xe59f3014
    mw 0x9000004 0xe3a02a02

    mw 0x900001c 0x2200f300
    arm7_go
    arm7_stop
    /exit

    iRecovery -f iBSS221pwn.dfu
    iRecovery -s
    go
    /exit

    Restore in itunes

ok are there any guides for restoreing a ipod not using itunes? i cant seem to find any. >.<

i have tryed flashing the orignal and custom and others via itunes

it shows the plug into itunes then it shows a apple then it verbose boots hangs makes a power enabled sound 3 times... then freeks out showing a white screen then the boot screen then the plug into i tunes. untell i do a itunes restore and it repeats.

in dfu mode itunes dosnt seem to want to do anything with the ipod saying "waiting for ipod to boot into recovory or somthing...

this is quite annoying i am uploading a video if you care to see.
    ------------------double post merged------------------
    i ran iRecovry from C:\Users\owner\Documents\Downloads\redsn0w_1_0\redsn0w lite\core\

and followed your directions it did go white! kind of ... but it fell back into its wanting to restore via itunes and the custom boot logo meaning i am sure verbose is still there... trying to restore.
