I'm new here so apologies if this has been bought up before, I did read through some posts beforehand and couldn't find an answer.

Just wondered if anyone could shed some light on an issue I've been having with my iPod Touch since I updated the software to V.2.1. On my home screen, the symbol representing my connectivity to Wi-Fi is present, and I have full strength signal - however, when I open Safari, or any other internet based application, I get the error message 'Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet'. Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this problem?

    In that case restore it.

If it cant find the server, reset your connectivity

    Go to Settings>Wi-Fi
And the network you are connected to should show, tap the blue arrow. Inside that screen there should be a box saying DNS and 1 or 2 long numbers should be inside there. Erase those numbers and enter 192.168.1.1. Then reboot and it should work.
