I'm trying to setup my computer to use VNC from a DNS server I have. But I can't get it to connect. My DNS is micaheljcaboose.serveftp.com, I used no-ip.com. I'm behind a router, i've forwarded many different ports that I read should be forwarded. Anyone have any experience in this?

I have not done no-ip before, but if your IP is static (or you never shut down your modem) you can just forward 5800-5900 and use your public IP, however, this is VERY dangerous, make sure you have a good password, and connect it via a secure connection if possible

Yeah I have done that. I also use DynDNS. I got DynDNS working at my dads house. There are options for it in the router, it works there. But my laptop is usually at my moms. And I do have a static IP on my computer.
