I know this probably sounds stupid and useless, but does anyone know of any methods for using an iPod touch as an external monitor? As if I were to plug a real external monitor into my MBP.. This could be very helpful for a number of reasons.

    Thanks.

If you can afford it, Jaadu is an excellent external monitor. I usually just turn on Jaadu, grab my wireless keyboard, head into another room and do whatever I need to. However, Jaadu does have the slight delay or lag, so if you planning on doing anything that you'd need timing for like games then it probably wouldn't work out so well.

    Sorry,
I didn't mean setting up a VNC screen sharing connection, I meant actually extending my desktop to the iPod's screen, so I could for example, drag an Adium window to my ipod sitting in front of me
